This year is going to be an awesome year for the saints as God pours out His Spirit and we don't want you to miss it! We are expecting a year of ridiculous blessings from God as He fulfills the promises He has made. In Acts 2:17 God said And it shall come to pass in the last days, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh.
We invite you to partake of this awesome move as God's promises of family/household salvation, divine healings, deliverance, prosperity, and complete releases from the clutches of the enemy! As you peruse the site, allow God's Spirit to minister His dynamic power as his "logos" word becomes "rhema" and be a partaker of the awesome anointing God is releasing. We realize that many of our viewers are not local; however, we invite you to stop by and glorify the Lord with us when you are in the Montgomery area.

On the 30th day of March, 1993, God presented Pastor Terry Ellison with a vision of New Life. Pastor Ellison called 8 people together and after allowing them to view a screen presentation of the vision, they all agreed and said, “Let’s move forward.” So with approximately 34 people in attendance, on April 4, 1993, New Life Church of God In Christ held its first service at the Governor’s House Hotel. “An Optimistic Outlook” was the message for the hour.
Bibleway COGIC, under the pastorate of Elder Douglas Davenport, a pastor with whom Pastor Ellison had worked closely with in the prison ministry, followed the leading of the Lord and united his church with New Life on April 11, 1993. This union was the first ever in the Alabama Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ history. The message for that Sunday was entitled “An Outpouring of the Holy Ghost”. When the doors of the church were opened the entire Bibleway Church family became full members of New Life.
The Holy Spirit was quickly performing the vision of the church. After having only three services at the Governor’s House, New Life moved into its present home, 4116 Narrow Lane Road, formerly Southern Technical College. The fellowship hall served as the sanctuary at this time. Soon, the men in the church began working on the other areas of the church and on May 23, 1993 a 200-plus seat sanctuary was completed. This sanctuary is now, what we call, the chapel or the children’s church.
Prayer, the main ingredient for the church, caused the vision to manifest greatly within the church. So with no hesitation, New Life worked very hard to finish remodeling the 6500 square feet sanctuary. The previous walls that were built were torn down. On December 19, 1993 the sanctuary was complete. It was also on this date that New Life Church of God In Christ was officially dedicated to God with Bishop O. L. Meadows officiating the service.
God did exactly what He promised He would do, and He’s still proving Himself to be “AWESOME”. He’s adding souls daily and giving them NEW LIFE; New Life in Him. We are now 1 church, 7 locations. Six locations sold out to the will of God. Seven locations that are all dedicated to the ensuring of God’s work being fulfilled, and Seven locations on the move for God. Yes, we are really experiencing God’s Word being made alive.
As we look back over our lives at just how far we have come, we can not help but say, “we have a testimony”. A testimony that says, “New Life is Not A Ministry, but definitely A Move Of God!!!!!”

It is designed to provide women of all ages with the spiritual guidance, training and encouragement necessary to become the virtuous women God has destined them to be in every area of their lives and be effective witnesses for Christ.
Evangelism
Overview of Ministry
The primary purpose of the Evangelism Department is to minister to souls and offer salvation.
Mission Statement
To offer and minister salvation, deliverance, healing and the love of Jesus Christ to each and every soul. Our goals include evangelizing in existing and new communities, recruiting, and educating and equipping others to effectively minister and win souls.
The Evangelism Department plays an integral part in New Life’s vision to “take back our city.” Our department’s primary function is to win souls to Christ. We are preparing to vigorously embark attacks into the enemy’s camps in key areas throughout the city as well as neighboring areas. Our Special Forces and Platoons will be detrimental in these attacks and we look forward to the harvest of souls as God gives us the victory in fulfilling the vision of 100,000 souls in seven locations!!!
The New Life Music Ministry is comprised the choir, musicians, directors, and praise team, under the leadership of God first and foremost, the Pastor, the Minister of Music and the Choir President. We have one (1) choir rehearsal with choir members choosing the location of their choice, all under the heading of one choir. We minister in song under the anointing of the Holy Spirit, looking to God for direction. Our goal is to be unified as one in Spirit. Being a member of this choir requires committment, dedication and sacrifice. There are three (3) responsibilities of a choir member that must be enforced:
1. To Yourself
Everyone has a duty to himself, to his better self. This duty to himself is the responsibility of making as fine a person out of himself as he possibly can. It means that when he assumes a responsibility then he owes it to himself to carry it out. And so punctual attendance to rehearsals and services is not a sacrifice, it is a privilege. When choir practice night comes the flesh may say, “NO”. Pay no heed but listen to your willing spirit, and show up for rehearsal and church services.
2. To Others
Everyone is responsible and answerable to others. Man is a social being, he not only seeks out the company of other men, but he is dependent upon them for survival. A choir member is not only responsible to the director or to his church, but he is also responsible and even answerable to every other member of the choir. Membership in an organization embraces loyalty. Allegiance to the choir, which includes responsibility to each of it’s members, is fortunately one of your prerogatives.
3. To God
Every creature is responsible and accountable to his Creator. The worship of God is not only a great comfort, not only a great blessing, but also a great privilege. If a man is given a talent he should return that talent from whence it came. A musical talent is a sacred trust. It is not granted to everyone to be blessed with a singing voice. Those who are so blessed are accountable to God to share it with His creator and His creation.
New Life Choir is always seeking more choir members. If you feel that the Music Ministry is your calling then by all means come and join us.

H.E.L.P.S. Ministry
The purpose of the HELPS Ministry is to bring order to the House of God in order to lighten the load of the leadership.
The Bible states that God has set some in the church, including helps. (1 Corinthians 12:28).
Mission
The HELPS Ministry team is a gift that God has set in the church to HELP bring to pass the vision of the Pastor which is to win souls by seeking to Help, Encourage, and Love People through acts of Service.
The vision/goals for 2012 is to :
Continue to HELP Pastor Ellison further his mission of winning souls for the Lord by being available to HELP in any area of the church where practical ministry is needed.
Alleviate the burden of someone else by giving assistance in their time of need.
Demonstrate, instruct and establish servant leadership principles in the hearts of new members.
The HELPS Ministry is a supernatural ministry set in the church by God. (I Corinthians 12:18, 26-28). The purpose of the HELP Ministry is to give or provide what is necessary to accomplish a task or satisfy a need; to contribute strength or to render assistance to. The Greek definition for the word "Helps" used in 1 Corinthians 12:28 is, "antilepsis", and means "rendering practical aid and support." The Pastor can preach an anointed sermon, but if the people in the Helps Ministry are not doing their jobs, the member/visitor may not want to come back. In II Chronicles 9:5-7, the Queen of Sheba saw Solomon's men and servants stand continually before him and they were happy because they were HELPing. In a nutshell, the HELPS Ministry, is to be a "practical aid and support" to our pastor in support of the vision in the church setting.
If you are HELPing anyone in the church, you are operating in the ministry of HELPS. This is a ministry just as valid, just as anointed as if God had asked you to be a teacher, prophet, or apostle. An usher, nursery worker, sound engineer, and musician -- anyone giving assistance in the body is in the Ministry of HELPS. The Pastor can preach an anointed sermon, but if the Helps Ministry is not doing its jobs, the visitor may not want to come back. This is a good reason for you to HELP the Pastor.
The purpose of the Prayer Center Ministry is to effectively minister through prayer to the needs of souls through guidance and direction of the Holy Spirit; and to uplift and intercede for the Shepherd, the vision God has given and the ministry as a whole.
To effectively minister through fervent, effectual prayer that enables healing, deliverance, and salvation to every soul
Goals:
· Restructuring some areas to ensure resources are being utilized most efficiently
· Refocusing and Rededicating our commitment to the ministry
· Quarterly meetings to discuss problems and/or area of improvement, and
· Auxiliary function at year end
The purpose of the New Life Hope Alive Prison Ministry is to see the lives of the imprisoned transformed by the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ. We want all inmates to know that God cares about them and Jesus died on the cross for the sins of us all so we can have hope in a seemingly dark situation.
Our ministry is founded on the principles of Matthew 25:35-36 – For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.
Our objectives are based on Isaiah 61:1
TO HEAL: He hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted
TO DELIVER: To proclaim liberty to the captives
TO SET FREE: and the opening of the prison to them that are bound
To honor God in this God-given ministry by lovingly teaching and preaching the truths of God’s Word. To give hope and encouragement to those who have been separated from the rest of society.
This coming year, our vision and goals are three fold:
The opportunity to be able to branch out into other prisons to minister the good news and give hope.
Collect needed items for the inmates on a church-wide level throughout the year
Work on developing a program that will actively engage the youth in positive activities as an alternative to contradict prison-bound behaviors and mentality.
Missing a loved is a support group for person who have experienced the hardship of dealing with death of a loved one. We are here to let you know that God cares. The purpose of this group is to provide spiritual support, guidance, and direction through shared testimonies, lectures, group discussions, and private counseling when necessary.
MLO is not limited to the death of a family member, but support is also provided for mothers who have experienced loss through childbirth, premature labor, or loss of a friend or co-worker.
When you turn to JESUS, there is no pain or wound that he can't heal.

NLBC graduates will also be equipped with the necessary tools to effectively function in any office or position within the body of Christ for the furtherance of the Kingdom of God. And He gave some apostles, and some prophets; and some evangelist; and some pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ. For most people, the ability to read, write and compute mathematically can open the door to more choices, pathways, and opportunities. Approximately 800,000 Alabamians 16 years of age or older have neither graduated from high school, nor earned a GED credential. For these Alabamians, this means fewer career options, lower earning capability, and more challenges for their families. (Alabama Adult Education Program Performance Report, July 1, 2009- June 30, 2010)

Kylle D. McKinney was born September 21,1969 in San Francisco, CA. He later moved to Vallejo, CA at the age of nine. It was there that he gave his life to the Lord at the age of 11 on September 4,1981 at the Center of Faith COGIC under the pastorate of Norwood G. Reason. He later received the baptism in the Holy Spirit on April 9, 1984 during an all night shut in at the church.
At the age of 15, Kylle obeyed God and would pass out tracts and do street witnessing on the drug and gang infested streets of South Vallejo. In August 1987, he moved to Montgomery, AL on a Presidential Scholarship to attend Alabama State University where he subsequently earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism in May 1991. In October 1987, Kylle joined himself with the Gospel Tabernacle COGIC under the pastorate of Clifford M. Terrell. It was there that he received and accepted his call into ministry.
On December 3, 1989, Elder McKinney preached his initial sermon entitled, Where Do You Stand, Whos On the Lords Side. At this church he was very active, serving as choir director of the adult choir, organizer and director of the college and teen choir, college ministry pastor, and subsequently youth pastor for the church. Elder McKinney was also actively involved in the college ministry on the campus of ASU. Elder McKinney was ordained an elder in the Church of God in Christ in April 1993. In March 1998, he joined himself with New Life COGIC. He became one of the 15 volunteers to commit to Annex 3 when it opened in May 1998 and was humbled to preach the very first sermon there. He was later appointed Co-Pastor of the location in September 1998.
